Advanced Live Response is a fork of pyliveresponse (which hasn’t been updated since 2009) it includes the following:
An interface closer to IM
Sound Alerts
Growl Alerts (needs growl installed)
For right now there is only an OSX port, but a linux port will be coming (very) soon!
